SAFETY PROGRAM
Industry Security Services, Inc. has the most progressive and extensive
safety program found in the security industry today. We really care about
the well being of our Officers and want to ensure their working environment
remains as safe as possible. The primary goal of our safety program is
prevention. However, when an accident occurs, we quickly respond for the
care of the injured Officer, extensively investigate the cause of the accident,
and take immediate action to retrain all officers and correct any hazardous
conditions.
All officers receive "The Basics of Safety" training during their orientation
with the company. Upon completion of the training they are tested and must
receive a passing score prior to working at any client locations.
When officers are placed at our client locations, they receive "Site Specific
Safety Training." This training is constantly changing as circumstances will
be ever changing at most of our client's locations. Part of the Site Pretest
Examination will cover a portion of safety that is specific to our clients facility.
Each client location will be assigned with a Safety Coordinator who will be
responsible for maintaining current site specific safety instructions. A
minimum of each quarter, the Safety Coordinator will meet with the client's
safety coordinator to discuss safety matters and review our current safety
plan.
Each year our officers receive 8 hours of refresher training as required by
AB 2880. Two hours of this refresher training is dedicated to safety and the
understanding of Industry Security Services, Inc.'s overall Safety Program.
